DIYDG members have BIG dreams and understand that it takes a whole community to work together.
We value our partnering organisations who connect with us to strengthen our vision to inspire, equip and empower young people to take action.
At Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good (DIYDG), we believe that genuine partnerships are built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to creating stronger futures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, families, and communities.
We welcome organisations and individuals who are passionate about making a real difference, and who are looking to collaborate with us on projects, programs, or initiatives that align with our purpose and community-driven approach.
Before reaching out, we encourage you to reflect on the following:
✅ Shared Purpose & Community Focus
Are you committed to supporting positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and empowering young people to thrive?
✅ Ethical & Respectful Engagement
Do you value cultural safety, respect community leadership, and practice ethical, transparent ways of working?
✅ Collaborative Spirit
Are you open to co-designing solutions, sharing knowledge, and working together to strengthen impact?
✅ Clear Project or Collaboration Idea
Do you have a program, initiative, or collaboration in mind that we can explore together?
✅ Commitment to Ethical Working Together Standards
We expect our partners to uphold DIYDG’s Ethical Working Together Standards, which include:
We know that it takes a village to raise a child, and as youth-led organisation, we are always striving to do things the right way. We cannot achieve our goals without working with others who share our vision of building a village to support our young people.

As our communities leading Aboriginal Medical Service, our connections are focused on empowering young people to take charge of their families and their own mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Having worked together in the past, our connection is grounded in strengthening our existing ties and co-designing future projects. DIYDG is proud to lease and operate services from the Nintiringanyi Cultural Training Centre hub, further deepening our partnership and commitment to shared goals. Together, we are building on our strong foundation to create opportunities that empower community, deliver meaningful outcomes, and shape a future designed by and for our people.
With group facilitation as one of our strengths, our connection is about empowering young people and community to actively engage in research opportunities that impact society.
The primary aim of the Jabalbina On Country Healing Camps is to engage and awaken the cultural and spiritual awareness of the roles and responsibilities each Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander child and youth inherently possess within them, and is a fundamental part of building a healthy cultural society.
As we forge our way to a stronger future, we embody the millennia of footsteps that came before us. We feel the presence of our ancestors and their guidance, as we navigate our continued responsibility to the lands and seas in which we connect to. Their spirit will carry on in the generations to come as we inspire, equip and empower our people and our community.
