Merrissa is our Chief Of Good (CEO).
Merrissa has many years experience working with young people.
She has worked in various roles such as Program Manager for Anglicare Youth Support Service, Queensland Health in Alcohol and Tobacco and Other Drugs, Cairns West State School as a teachers aide.
She is passionate about her community and she endeavours to involve herself in different ways to broaden her awareness and maintaining her connections.

Semara is a proud Gudjula, Eastern-Kuku Yalanji and Darnley Island woman. Born and raised in Cairns, she is the co-founder and chairperson of DIYDG. With a passion for youth leadership, she empowers young people to create change for themselves, their families and their communities.
"I've got a passion for leadership. Knowing who we are as individuals helps us to know who we are as leaders. Everyone has leadership potential but sometimes they just need a good push to get out there."
"They call me 'Mumma Stacee'. I'm the chef of DIYDG and love to tell people what to do. Gammon. I love to share my cultural knowledge with other young people, and teaching respect and protocols."
Wollie (or Balawolz) is the brains behind our amazing video clips. You may have seen his video's trending on social media! Keep an eye on him, Wollie is going places.
Tamika is our media and marketing guru. She was one of our OG DIYDG members and is still here 8 years later! After doing youth work for many years, she has moved into our digital space and is absolutely thriving!
Stephina is our motivated Client and
Wellbeing Coordinator. "I'm a champion for culture and proactive wellbeing practices that reduce the mental health impacts on the lives of young people. Together we can change the narrative for the next generation."
