Semara Jose, a proud Gudjula, Eastern-Kuku Yalanji, and Darnley Island woman, was born and raised in Cairns and is a co-founder of DIYDG. As the Custodian of Leadership, she is dedicated to creating opportunities for community members and young people to step into leadership roles, both within the DIYDG ecosystem and beyond. With a vision for empowering young people in crisis to rise as leaders, Semara is passionate about fostering growth and transformation.
